A design that breaks the rectangle
At first, the TriFold looks almost familiar. Closed, it behaves like a slightly thick, slightly heavy smartphone with a 6.5-inch outer display. You could use it like any other device—messages, scrolling, quick photos.

This is not a device built for mass adoption.

Why it matters anyway
Most smartphones today are incremental. Slightly better cameras, slightly faster chips, slightly brighter screens.
The TriFold is not incremental.

It takes everything Samsung has learned from years of foldables and pushes it into something bolder, riskier, and far more ambitious. It doesn’t just iterate on the idea of a smartphone—it questions it entirely.
Sometimes it feels like the future. Sometimes it feels like a prototype you accidentally paid for.
